Terms of Use & Service
Effective date: September 10, 2026
Welcome to QuickJunk2Go. These Terms of Use govern your use of our website, booking platform, contractor portal, and related services.
By using QuickJunk2Go, creating an account, placing a booking, accepting a job, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Platform
QuickJunk2Go connects customers who need items removed with independent hauling contractors.
QuickJunk2Go is a platform and is not the employer of contractors. Contractors are independent businesses responsible for their own vehicles, equipment, licences, insurance, taxes, labour, disposal costs, and compliance with applicable laws.
2. Customer Bookings
Customers must provide accurate booking information, including:
- Items to be removed
- Photos of listed items
- Pickup address and access details
- Stairs, difficult access, or special conditions
- Any other information that could affect the work required
Pricing is based on the details submitted at booking. Customers must not ask contractors to remove unlisted items or perform additional work without approval through the QuickJunk2Go platform.
3. Payments
Customers pay securely through QuickJunk2Go. Contractors must never collect cash, request direct payment, or request payment outside the platform.
GST and applicable fees are shown during checkout where required.
4. Scope Changes and Updated Quotes
If the actual job differs materially from the booking details, QuickJunk2Go may send the customer an updated quote before additional work begins.
A scope change may be required because of additional items, different quantities or sizes, undisclosed stairs, difficult access, unsafe conditions, inaccurate photos, or another material difference from the booking.
Customers are not required to approve an updated quote. No contractor may pressure a customer to approve a quote or collect cash or direct payment for unapproved additional work.
If the customer approves the updated quote
The contractor may complete the approved additional work. The additional charge is processed securely through QuickJunk2Go.
If the customer declines the updated quote
No additional charge will be collected.
The assigned contractor may choose to:
- Complete only the original booked items for the original price; or
- Complete the full job at the original price.
If there is a safety, access, or customer conflict, QuickJunk2Go will review the situation and determine the appropriate outcome. Contractors cannot cancel a customer booking themselves.
5. Customer Cancellations
20 hours or more before pickup
Customers may cancel free of charge at least 20 hours before the scheduled pickup window.
- Cancellation fee: $0
- Refund: Full refund of the amount paid
- Contractor payout: Not applicable
- Contractor commitment deposit: Refunded
Less than 20 hours before pickup
A $50 cancellation fee applies if the customer cancels less than 20 hours before the scheduled pickup window.
Any eligible refund is the amount paid above the $50 cancellation fee. If a contractor has been assigned, the contractor may receive $20 compensation. The contractor’s commitment deposit is refunded.
6. Rescheduling
Customers may request a reschedule more than 20 hours before the current pickup window.
If a contractor has already accepted the job, they have 30 minutes to accept or decline the proposed new pickup time.
If the contractor declines or does not respond, the contractor is released from the job, their commitment deposit becomes refund due, and the job may return to Available Jobs for another contractor.
7. Contractor Responsibilities
Contractors must:
- Accept only jobs they can complete safely and on time.
- Arrive during the confirmed pickup window.
- Upload required arrival, item, and completion photos.
- Report discrepancies, safety concerns, access issues, or customer conflicts through the contractor portal.
- Treat customers, homes, buildings, neighbours, and property respectfully.
- Follow safe lifting, loading, driving, recycling, and disposal practices.
- Maintain all required vehicle, business, insurance, licensing, registration, and tax obligations.
Repeated cancellations, no-shows, safety issues, missed evidence, dishonesty, or reliability concerns may result in suspension or removal from QuickJunk2Go.
8. Handling Removed Items
Contractors may donate, recycle, or responsibly dispose of items removed through a QuickJunk2Go booking after customer-authorized removal.
Contractors must not list, advertise, market, auction, or sell any item removed through a QuickJunk2Go booking on Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, eBay, Craigslist, or any other online sales, auction, or classified platform.
Contractors must not use customer information, customer addresses, job photos, or QuickJunk2Go branding to promote or sell removed items.
Contractors must not remove unlisted items without customer authorization.
9. Prohibited and Unsafe Items
Contractors must not accept items that QuickJunk2Go identifies as prohibited, dangerous, illegal, hazardous, or unsafe.
If an unsafe situation arises, the contractor must stop work and report the issue through the platform. See our Items We Do Not Remove page for examples of prohibited items.
10. Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the bank, card provider, or payment method and may take several business days.
QuickJunk2Go may delay, reduce, or decline a refund where there is suspected fraud, chargeback abuse, false booking information, prohibited items, unsafe conditions not disclosed during booking, or another material breach of these Terms.
11. Privacy and Customer Information
Users must use personal information received through QuickJunk2Go only for the purpose of completing the assigned booking.
Contractors must not use customer names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, photos, or other information for unrelated marketing, personal contact, advertising, or sales activity.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
QuickJunk2Go provides a platform to facilitate bookings and communications between customers and independent contractors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickJunk2Go is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform, a booking, contractor services, delays, cancellations, third-party conduct, or disposal decisions.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Changes to These Terms
QuickJunk2Go may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
