Independent Contractor Notice:
As a QuickJunk2Go partner, you are an independent business operator—not an employee. You operate your own rig and maintain full responsibility for your vehicle, fuel, equipment, crew, licensing, insurance, disposal fees, and tax filings.
1. Onboarding Requirements for Calgary Haulers
To receive job dispatches on the QuickJunk2Go network, your business must meet and maintain our partner eligibility criteria:
- Vehicle & Rig: A reliable pickup truck, cargo van, box truck, or dump trailer equipped for heavy hauling.
- Driver’s License: Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent).
- Business Registration: Active business registration compliant with City of Calgary municipal requirements.
- Commercial Liability Insurance: Active Commercial General Liability (CGL) coverage ($2M minimum recommended).
- Equipment & Tools: Straps, dollies, ramps, protective blankets, and safety gear required to handle heavy items safely.
- Mobile Technology: Active smartphone equipped with WhatsApp and web browser access for real-time dispatching and mandatory photo verification uploads.
2. Straightforward Payout Structure & Earnings
You always know your exact dollar payout before claiming a dispatch. Payouts are calculated based on the net booked value (excluding GST):

Note: Your minimum payout for any standard clean completed job is $90. GST collected from the customer and the separate $20 Commitment Deposit are held separately from your base payout.
3. How the $20 Commitment Deposit Works
When you accept a dispatch, a separate $20 Commitment Deposit is collected from your account to lock in the pickup window for the customer and prevent double-booking.

4. Step-by-Step Job Workflow
- Claim an Available Job: Browse the Contractor Portal to inspect the job location, item list, access notes, photos, and guaranteed payout.
- Lock In the Window: Click Accept Job to reserve the pickup window ($20 commitment deposit held).
- Arrive & Check In: Arrive during the scheduled window and click I’ve Arrived in the portal.
- Submit Arrival Photos: Upload required photo evidence of the items and workspace before loading.
- Report Discrepancies (If Any): If the job scope differs materially from the booking, click Report Discrepancy before lifting.
- Load & Transport Safely: Load items securely and protect customer property during extraction.
- Submit Completion Photos & Mark Done: Upload final completion photos and click Mark Job Done within the portal.
- Receive Digital Payout: Once job photos are verified, your payout and $20 deposit are released directly to your account.
5. Handling Scope Discrepancies & Price Adjustments
Customer prices are calculated strictly based on the items, quantities, photos, and access factors submitted during online checkout.
If you arrive on-site and discover additional items, unlisted flights of stairs, heavy weight/volume differences, or unsafe workspace hazards:
- Do NOT Solicit Cash: Never ask the customer for direct cash, e-Transfers, or off-platform payments.
- Report Discrepancy: Tap Report Discrepancy / Customer Issue inside the portal and upload photos of the unlisted items or access barriers.
- Admin Review: QuickJunk2Go generates an updated digital quote and transmits it directly to the customer’s phone.
- Completion Options Based on Customer Response:
- Customer Approves: You complete the expanded scope and receive 70% of the approved additional charge.
- Customer Declines: You are never required to perform unapproved extra work. You can choose to:
- Remove only the original booked items for the original guaranteed payout; or
- Complete the full job for the original payout at your sole discretion.
6. Customer Cancellations & Rescheduling Compensation
- Customer Cancels 20+ Hours Prior: Job is canceled with zero fee. Your $20 commitment deposit is immediately refunded.
- Customer Cancels Within 20 Hours: The customer incurs a $50 late fee. You receive $20 Contractor Compensation for your reserved time, and your $20 commitment deposit is fully refunded.
- Customer Reschedule Requests: If a customer requests a new pickup window 20+ hours in advance, you have 30 minutes to accept or decline. If you decline or do not respond, you are released with zero penalty, your $20 deposit is refunded, and the job returns to the dispatch board.
7. Operational Standards & Item Disposal Rules
To maintain an active account on the QuickJunk2Go network, contractors must adhere to strict platform standards:
- Professional Conduct: Arrive on time, communicate clearly, protect customer premises, and wear suitable safety gear.
- Responsible Disposal: Reusable items may be donated, recycled at local Eco-Stations, or disposed of at certified City of Calgary landfills.
- STRICT RESALE PROHIBITION:Contractors are explicitly prohibited from listing, marketing, auctioning, or selling any item retrieved through a QuickJunk2Go booking on Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, eBay, Craigslist, or any online sales/classifieds platform. You may not use customer information, addresses, or job photos to promote secondary item sales.
