Work With QuickJunk2Go

Flexible hauling work. Clear job payouts.

QuickJunk2Go connects approved independent hauling contractors with customers who need bulky items removed in Calgary and surrounding areas.

Customers book and pay online. You choose the jobs you want, see your payout before accepting, complete the pickup safely, submit the required job photos, and get paid through the platform.

You are an independent contractor — not an employee of QuickJunk2Go. You operate your own business and are responsible for your vehicle, equipment, insurance, licences, taxes, and operating costs.

Before You Accept Jobs

To work through QuickJunk2Go, you must keep your contractor account current and meet our onboarding requirements.

You must have:

  • A reliable truck, cargo van, or pickup truck
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Commercial general liability insurance
  • A registered business that meets applicable City of Calgary licensing and registration requirements
  • The vehicle, labour, equipment, and service readiness required for the jobs you accept

Only accept jobs you can complete safely and on time.

Contractor Availability and Job Access

Approval as a QuickJunk2Go contractor does not guarantee that jobs will always be available, offered, or awarded to you.

QuickJunk2Go may limit the number of active contractors in a service area to support reliable service and sustainable job volume. Qualified applicants may be placed on a waiting list until additional contractor capacity is needed.

Available jobs are claimed through the contractor portal. Active status does not guarantee a minimum number of jobs, earnings, hours, or income.

How Jobs Work

  1. Choose an available job
You will see the pickup window, listed items, access details, and your estimated payout before accepting.
  2. Accept the job
A separate $20 commitment deposit is collected when you accept. This reserves the pickup window for you.
  3. Complete the pickup
Arrive during the scheduled pickup window, follow the job details, and treat the customer and their property respectfully.
  4. Submit job evidence
Use the contractor portal to record your arrival, upload required photos, report any issue, and mark the job done after the pickup is complete.
  5. Get paid
Once job evidence is approved and QuickJunk2Go marks the payout paid, your payout is recorded. For a clean completed job, your $20 commitment deposit is automatically refunded.

How Your Earnings Work

Your exact dollar payout is shown before you accept every job.

Booked job value before GSTContractor payout
$99–$130Fixed $90
More than $13070% of the job value

Your minimum normal payout is $90 per completed job.

GST and the separate $20 commitment deposit are not part of the payout amount shown for the job.

If a customer approves an additional charge because the job is materially different from the booking, you receive 70% of the approved additional amount.

You are responsible for your own income tax, GST/HST where applicable, insurance, fuel, disposal costs, labour, and other business expenses.

Your $20 Commitment Deposit

The $20 commitment deposit confirms that you are reserving the pickup time. It is separate from your normal job payout.

  • Clean completed job: Automatically refunded after the job is marked paid.
  • Customer cancellation: Refunded when the job is handled as a customer cancellation.
  • Reschedule declined or no response: If you are released because you decline a reschedule or do not respond within the required time, your deposit becomes refund due.
  • Contractor cancellation or no-show: The deposit may be kept or applied under the contractor agreement and the circumstances of the job.

Arrival, Photos, and Marking a Job Done

Good documentation protects you, the customer, and QuickJunk2Go.

For every job, you must use the contractor portal to:

  • Click I’ve Arrived when you reach the pickup location.
  • Upload the required arrival and item photos.
  • Use Report Discrepancy / Customer Issue before proceeding if the job differs from the booking.
  • Upload required completion evidence.
  • Click Mark Job Done only after the pickup is fully complete.

Do not mark a job done early.

Required photos normally must be submitted within four hours after the pickup-window start. The job must normally be marked done within eight hours. Missing photos, a reported issue, a customer dispute, or unusual circumstances may require admin review and can delay payment.

If the Job Is Different From the Booking

Customer pricing is based on the items, photos, access conditions, stairs, and other booking details.

If you find additional items, different sizes or quantities, undisclosed stairs, difficult access, unsafe conditions, or another material difference:

  1. Do not pressure the customer or collect cash directly.
  2. Use Report Discrepancy / Customer Issue in the contractor portal.
  3. Wait for QuickJunk2Go to review the issue.
  4. If appropriate, QuickJunk2Go will send the customer a scope-change quote.
  5. Complete additional work only after the customer approves the quote through the platform.

If the customer declines a scope-change quote, you may choose one of the following completion options:

  • Complete Original Booked Items: Remove only the items and complete only the work included in the original booking. You receive the original booked payout. No additional charge is made to the customer.
  • Complete Full Job at Original Payout: Complete all work, including the additional items, for the original booked payout. No additional payment is collected.

You are never required to perform unapproved extra work without additional approved payment.

If there is a safety, access, or customer conflict, use Report Discrepancy / Customer Issue and contact QuickJunk2Go for admin review. Do not cancel a customer booking yourself.

Customer Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customer cancellation

  • 20 hours or more before pickup: The customer may cancel without a fee. Your normal job payout does not apply and your $20 commitment deposit is refunded.
  • Less than 20 hours before pickup: The customer pays a $50 cancellation fee. If you were assigned to the job, you receive $20 contractor compensation. Your normal job payout does not apply and your $20 commitment deposit is refunded.

Customer reschedule request

Customers may request a reschedule more than 20 hours before the pickup window.

If you are assigned, you have 30 minutes to accept or decline the proposed new time.

  • Accept: You keep the job at the newly confirmed pickup time.
  • Decline or no response: You are released from the job, your deposit becomes refund due, and the job returns to Available Jobs for another contractor.

Contractor cancellation or no-show

Only accept jobs you are confident you can complete.

If an emergency prevents you from completing a job, notify QuickJunk2Go immediately. Repeated cancellations, late cancellations, no-shows, missed evidence, or reliability issues may lead to account review, loss of the commitment deposit, suspended access, or removal from the platform.

Customer and Property Standards

While working through QuickJunk2Go, you must:

  • Be professional, respectful, and non-discriminatory.
  • Arrive prepared and communicate promptly about genuine delays or access issues.
  • Follow safe lifting, loading, driving, recycling, and disposal practices.
  • Respect the customer’s home, building rules, neighbours, and property.
  • Use customer information only to perform the assigned job.
  • Never use customer details for unrelated marketing or personal contact.

Do not remove unlisted property without customer authorization.

Do not accept dangerous, illegal, hazardous, prohibited, or unsafe items. If a situation is unsafe, stop work and report it through the portal.

Handling Removed Items

After customer-authorized removal, reusable items may be donated, recycled, or responsibly disposed of.

You must not list, advertise, market, auction, or sell any item removed through a QuickJunk2Go booking on Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, eBay, Craigslist, or any other online sales, auction, or classified platform.

You must not use customer information, job photos, customer addresses, or QuickJunk2Go branding to promote removed items.

Payment Timing

Clean jobs with complete evidence and no reported issue can move to the payout queue once approved.

QuickJunk2Go reviews payouts and marks them paid through the admin payout system. You can see your job status and completed-job history in your contractor portal.

A payout may be held while QuickJunk2Go reviews missing proof, a discrepancy report, customer dispute, suspected fraud, safety concern, or another material issue.

Your Independent Business Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining all permits, insurance, licences, registrations, equipment, vehicles, workers, tax obligations, and legal requirements that apply to your business.

You must promptly update QuickJunk2Go if any information in your contractor account changes or if you can no longer meet the onboarding requirements.
